An large crowd of bidders and onlookers alike showed up at Nelson County Fairgrounds Building in Bardstown on Saturday, December 8 at 10:07 a.m., to bid and buy on the J.R. & Elaine Breeding property. In the growing transition of inside auction sales, a Power Point Presentation was shown for prospective bidders to view digital pictures of the property displayed on a large screen beginning 1-hour prior and throughout the entire auction. The winning bidders of the day were, Tony & Julie Distler, of West Point, KY, purchasing Tracts 2 & 3 containing 29.295 acres & house for a total sales price of $170,215.32, followed by Joseph Timothy Livers, buying Tracts 4 & 5 containing 42.759 acres for a total purchase price of $127,934.93. This auction was held in cooperation with Jana White & James Kirk of Preferred Properties Inc.- and handled by the Century 21 Realty Group Auction Team consisting of 10 Team members, including: auctioneers, apprentice auctioneers, clerks, cashiers, and auction assistants.
