A large crowd of prospective bidders and on lookers alike gathered at the Quality Inn in Bardstown, Nelson Country to bid & buy on the 4 properties offered for sale by the Century 21 Realty Group Hagan Auction Team.
The Auction Team held auctions for properties located in 3 different counties
for 3 different sellers. Selling first by Power Point was the Niles Clinton Gribbins property located in the Gleanings Community, Nelson County, Ky. containing 64.782 acres. Winning bidder of the day was Joseph P. Bowling of Bardstown purchasing all 5 tracts for the total sales price of $134,714.09. Immediately following the Gribbins farm was the property owned by Mark Ovesen located in Ovesen Heights, and the White City Community of Larue County. This property was offered in 3 different tracts containing 24.99 acres total and sold as follows. Winning bidder of the day was Jason & Tashawna Salsman of Hodgenville, purchasing Tract 3 containing 10.53 acres for the total purchase price of $ 56,756.70, followed by Jeff Metcalf of Hodgenville buying Tract 1 containing 7.23 acres for $18,689.55, and Emmanuel Ballerd of Bardstown purchasing Tract 2 containing 7.23 acres for $15,906.00. The final property of the day to sell was the Mark Maupin Farm located at 997 Haydon Brothers Road, Springfield, Washington County, Ky. This property had 8 tracts and a total of 124.87 acres. The winning bidders of the day were as follows. Marshall Tingle of Cox’s Creek and Joseph T. Downs of Bloomfield purchasing Tracts 2,4, 7 & 8 containing 85.718 acres for a total sales price of $ 128,113.81, followed by Tony L. Burkhead Jr. of Willisburg, KY. buying Tract 6 containing 24.573 acres for a total sales price of $ 44,290.40, Jessie Haydon Jr. and Betty Jean Haydon, of Springfield, purchasing Tract 5 containing 6.313 acrs for a total sales price of $ 31,596.57, and finally Todd Maupin of Springfield, buying Tracts 1 & 3 containing 7.764 acres for a total sales price of $ 29,193.12.Leonard Mudd and Phil Clayton were Listing Agents for the Mark
Maupin property and the Mark Ovesen farm was sold in cooperation
